Certification fees

As from April 2017, The IIA will raise the price for the global certification programs. Their vendor Pearson VUE will increase the fees they charge to administer the certification exams. This is the first time that Pearson VUE has increased their fees since 2008 when they first partnered with IIA to launch computer-based-testing for IIA certifications. Overall, the price for IIA certifications has remained unchanged since 2011 and continues to be very competitive compared to other certifications. In the last five years, The IIA has made substantial investments to protect the rigor, relevance, security, administration, and delivery of the global certification programs which has increased their costs to effectively and efficiently develop, maintain, and administer certifications programs. The increase will also affect the price of the exams and of Continuing Professional Education (CPE).
